Ittefaq Sugar Mills Ltd. installed in 1982, was the first Sugar mill of the Ittefaq Group of Industries. It has adopted defection remelt carbonation / phosphatation process to produce high quality refined sugar.
The mill is situated in Chani Goath, Tehsil Ahmad Pur Sharkia, Distt. Bhawal Pur. The project covers 134 acres of land (88 acres inside the mills main boundary wall and 46 acres outside the wall). The land outside the wall is meant for developing Cane Seed of better cane varieties for our growers.
Land inside the boundary wall has the factory building, offices, cane, bagasse yards, workshop, officers’ colony, Play grounds, children school, gardens and mosque. The layout of the mill is vast, beautiful and well planned for future expansion and processing of by-products.
PLANT CAPACITY
The plant was originally designed for 4000 TCD but with slight modification in plant and by adding some equipment in milling and process houses, now we can crush up to 6000 TCD daily. It is the biggest industrial unit in the district of Sahiwal and Pakpattan providing employment at large scale.
PRODUCTION
The mills first production season was 1983 and since then it has been playing an enormous role in economic development of the area and the country as a whole, showing excellent performance with splendid production results. Sugar valuing over Rs. 40.000 million is produced daily in this mill.
